Hey, I’m Sam!

Born, bred, and raised in the Fox Valley, I’ve been behind the chair for 17+ years. I think I always knew I belonged in the beauty industry — I grew up loving hair, makeup, fashion, and finding different ways to express myself through style. Music videos, album covers, artists, and bands have always been a huge source of inspiration for me, and that little bit of rock & roll definitely still finds its way into my work.

After stepping away from the salon to spend six months on the road working in the music industry, I’m back home and behind the chair again — with a fresh perspective, a renewed passion for hair, and quite a few stories from the road.

​

My specialties include lived-in color, precision cutting, detailed men’s cuts, and specialty & weekly styling. I especially love a great bob and the details that go into creating the perfect shape, movement, and texture. There’s something about watching the right cut completely change the way someone carries themselves that never gets old.

When it comes to the energy in my chair, I’m a hype woman to my core. I love getting to know people, hearing what’s happening in their lives, swapping stories, laughing together, and creating a space where you can completely be yourself. I believe great hair should feel like an extension of who you are — whether that’s classic and polished, effortlessly undone, or a little more rock & roll.

Outside of the salon, music is a huge part of my life. I love live music, discovering new bands, bonfires, and spending time with my two tuxedo cats, Marv & Tito — brothers from the same litter with plenty of personality of their own.

At the end of the day, I want you to leave my chair feeling refreshed, heard, seen, and like the absolute best version of yourself — with really great hair, of course.
