Abigail Umentum
lead aesthetician
Get to know Abigail...
I’ve always been drawn to calm spaces and gentle care, so it makes perfect sense that I ended up in aesthetics. I used to watch facial and waxing ASMR videos just to relax — the quiet focus, the soothing touch, the transformation — it all felt like medicine for the nervous system.

Helping people feel safe, cared for, and less stressed has always been important to me, so becoming an esthetician wasn’t just a career choice, it felt like a calling. I love advocating for self-love, slowing down, and choosing yourself first. A service with me isn’t just skincare — it’s permission to breathe, switch off the world, and be nurtured.

My favorite services to perform are facials — every kind, every skin type, every goal. There’s nothing like watching someone walk in carrying stress and walk out glowing from the inside out. I love giving guests a space that belongs entirely to them: no responsibilities, no notifications, no expectations. Just stillness. Just release. Just care.

If I had to describe my vibe, I’d say I’m sarcastic, silly, and sympathetic — which basically means I’ll make you laugh, make you feel safe, and also pass you a tissue if needed. My goal is to make every service feel both light-hearted and deeply comforting at the same time.

My treatment room is designed to feel like exhale. A weighted blanket, a heated table, your choice of aromatherapy, and face + body massage included in nearly every facial — it’s cozy, quiet, and intentionally soothing. You don’t have to perform here, or push through, or problem-solve. You just get to exist while I take care of you.

And a fun fact most people don’t expect: I used to practice taekwondo. So yes — I can hold space for your nervous system and break a board if necessary. Balance.

When it comes to inspiration and advancing my craft, YouTube is my secret weapon. I love watching estheticians from around the world share new techniques and updated methods, always hunting for something I can add, refine, or evolve. I want every service to feel better than your last — more intentional, more restorative, more you time.

Outside the treatment room, I’m a mix of cozy and curious. True crime documentaries, ghost adventures, and basketball are my go-tos, but I equally love romance books, quiet walks, self-care rituals, and music in the background. I’m the type who can hunt for haunted locations one day and spend the next morning journaling with skincare and coffee — balance, again.

And the heart behind everything I do? My parents. They are my biggest cheerleaders and my constant motivation. They’ve supported every dream, every pivot, and every late-night study session. They’ve worked so hard for everything we have, and I can only hope to be even half the humans they are someday.

When guests leave my treatment room, I want their stress and worries to be left on the table — literally. My hope is that they walk out relaxed, lighter, glowing, and feeling not just beautiful, but deeply confident. I want them to finish their day knowing they chose themselves, and that it mattered.

My favorite motto, and the way I try to move through the world, is this: “If the good can’t find you, be the good that finds others.”
It’s how I care, how I serve, and how I hope clients feel when they walk back out into the world.
